Phase 1 Governance Board
In order to ensure good governance, the Network has the Governance Board which includes senior management representatives at Pro-Vice Chancellor level or equivalent from each of the 4 partner universities along with an observer from the Chief Scientific Advisor’s Office.
Professor Gary Baxter represents Cardiff University and Chairs the Board. The Board meet twice a year to review the Network’s strategic plans as well as overall progress. The Governance Board provides oversight of the Management Board which are required to provide regular reports, financial statements and details of progress against agreed outputs. The Management Board are represented at the Governance Board by the Network Directors.
