About Us

The Network is led by Cardiff University and brings together research expertise in the Life Sciences from across Wales.  The Network aims to work closely with national and international research organisations as well as companies to develop science leading to new treatments in areas of unmet medical and veterinary need.

The Network supports a range of activities including PhD students and Research Projects as well as flexible Endeavour projects aimed at building consortia and supporting grant applications. Universities within Wales are able to apply for funding via an open call and projects are evaluated by an eminent panel of experts on the Network’s Management Board.  Although companies and universities from outside of Wales are unable to apply for funding directly, they are actively encouraged to become involved with the Network’s activities.
